We are seeking excellent postdoctoral researchers to prepare together an application for MSCA-IF-2019 in 3D femtosecond-laser Non-linear Lithography of Nanophotonic devices inside crystals.
You will work together with Dr. Ródenas to prepare a successful application where your excellence will shine and combine with his expertise to put together a highly competitive work plan boosting your training and defining an excellent scientific proposal.GOAL: To develop breakthrough nanophotonic monolithic dielectric components never seen before. See as a reference our last Nature paper (https://doi.org/10.1038/s41566-018-0327-9).
CHALLENGE: To discover together with Dr. Ródenas group a new fabrication strategy by fs-laser nanostructuring where final nanophotonic devices will exhibit low scattering losses and high functional efficiency. Programming and numerical methods for optimizing the device designs and digital fabrication protocols will be needed.
